According to Haslam’s probable cause affadavit, it started with the suspects talking Gammage into writing them a check.
Ronnie Joe Gammage, 27, of Longview, Texas has not been seen since Tuesday, December 4th.
The tire on Ronnie’s truck had been cut. Ronnie went into the Waffle House on Loop 281 and said that he had a flat tire. He left after that and no one has seen him since.
Ronnie’s mom, Frankie Gammage, says her son has a mental disability, and muscular dystrophy, and wouldn’t have been able to fight back if he was attacked.
“I was told that he went back in to the Waffle House, and told them that he had a flat,” Gammage told KLTV. “He went back out to the truck, and they said that was the last time they saw him, around 3 a.m. He would have called me, and said, ‘Mom I’ve got a flat.’ He’d have called me if he ran out of gas, if he needed money, anything, he would call me.”
Ronnie Gammage is 6’8″, 265 pounds, and police say he usually dresses in western attire. If you have any information, call the Longview Police.
